I was in my early twenties when I bought my first house. I worked for a large bank at the time, and the employee mortgage loans were handled by a centralized call center. They had no incentive to make sure that my loan closed on time or that I was even satisfied with the loan process.
I remember the chaos the day of closing when, an hour before were scheduled to close, the attorney did not have the closing documents. The seller of the house was there, and all were worried because there was a lack of communication with the lender. I had no one to call; In fact, I had not so much as spoken to my loan officer in weeks. That experience set off a chain of events that has led me to where I am today as the leader of Triumph Mortgage. I knew there was a better way.
